Kenneth Wayne Byers - March 9, 1930 - February 5, 2009
Kenneth Wayne Byers, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 in Bountiful Utah.
Born March 9, 1930 in Boise,Idaho, the son of Milton and Edna Byers. He served
in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Graduated from Brigham Young University,
with a BS in Math in 1959. He married Shirley Call September 4, 1959 in the
Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with three daughters, three sons and
14 grandchildren.
Ken and Shirley served missions in the San Diego, California, Temple Square,
and the Centerville Cannery.
Ken loved to golf, garden, read Louis L'Amore books and spending time with his
family.
Dad was the patriach of our family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2009
at the Bountiful 26th Ward Chapel, 200 North 200 West. A visitation will
be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Russon Brother Bountiful
Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tuesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church
